Girlhood

This series explores the phenomenon faced by women and femmes in which they use their femininity as both a weapon and a shield in a violent world. Further, it’s an exploration of how this dichotomy is explored in private spaces when women are alone, and questions if our displays of femininity are innate, or if perhaps they are a performance of their own.
